now hiring - 2025 season

Farm Hands
(Full-time/Part-time)

With a new season coming up, we are currently looking to add Farm Hands to our Blue Goose Farm team. Farming experience is not necessarily required, but is a major bonus. Roughly half of the team’s time is spent harvesting, washing, and packing restaurant orders and supplying our farm store. The other half is dedicated to preparing beds, transplanting, trellising, and other field activities. On a farm as small and diverse as ours, our days are varied, yet there’s also a good rhythm to each week and season.

We run a tight ship of a farm. We are as very small team and so having a great attitude is imperative to having a great season.

desired skills & qualifications:

  • Farming experience isn't required, but is definitely a bonus. Any experience in fields such as landscaping, restaurants etc is also welcome.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills: There are many moving parts here on our farm and it is imperative that we all stay connected and on the same page. Must be open and receptive to honest feedback.
  • Relentless attention to detail. Thoroughness. An eye for both quality and efficiency.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Clean and organized
  • A love of plants, soil, and good food! Wonder and care for the living things we work with (and eat) are key to the farm’s success, as well as the level of investment and joy we find in this work.
  •  Welcoming of community: in respect to who we are as individuals within the farm team, the family which lives on this land and our community which supports our farm store.

number of positions:
